12 Apr World’s Best New Golf Course 2015?
Please vote for Lofoten Links. Your vote is highly appreciated! Voting closes September 27th.
We are obviously very proud and happy for this nomination. This is a confirmation of the hard work we have put in at our facility in Lofoten, in the North of Norway. We are competing with 3 other world class courses for this award; Palm Garden Golf Club in Malaysia, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip in Vietnam and TPC at Baha Mar in the Bahamas. We consider our chances of winning this prestigious award as very good, as we’re looking for votes from Norway, Scandinavia, Europe and the rest of the world from those that see the uniqueness in this project. The winner of Best New Golf Course in 2014 was The Els Club Teluk Datai, Malaysia, also a part of Troon Golf.
We believe this nomination has been given to us because of the uniqueness of the project, quality and design of the course, as playing on a links course by the Norwegian Sea facing North, under the midnight sun and in stunningly beautiful landscape. We have a very different course compared to our competitors, as this has been our goal from day one. Our vision is to have the most spectacular and coolest golf course in the world, as we want to incorporate spectacular beautiful nature as an integral part of the golf experience suited for all level of players. This nomination also give us a boost to continue working to establish Lofoten Links as an iconic course in the world, a course every golfer simply MUST play!
