Norsk Golf magazine has named hole 2 as Norway’s best par 3 hole.

Norsk Golf says:

This hole needs no explanation. The picture speaks for itself. Spectacular Lofoten Golf Links was the most talked about golf course even before it was completed last summer. The course has grown slowly but surely, and is sure to continue improving. Hole 2 is not only one of the most picturesque golf holes in Norway, but throughout the world. The tee plays from a small green out onto a peninsula. There is sand, reeds and water all the way to the green, which is surrounded by rocks where the sea eagles like to enjoy the view in the early morning. Directly in front of the green there is a small bunker. The sight from the tee is enough to psyche out even the most confident golfer. The weather often contributes towards making the hole extra interesting: with winds whipping in from the Norwegian Sea rewarding whoever is able to control the path of the ball in the wind. The green is built from back to front and is susceptible to punch shots.

Hole 9,10 and 14 have come in the top 100 holes in Norsk Golf too!
